Học là gì
Học hay còn gọi là học tập, học hành, học hỏi là quá trình đạt được sự hiểu biết, kiến thức, hành vi, kỹ năng, giá trị, thái độ và sở thích mới.[1] Khả năng học hỏi được sở hữu bởi con người, động vật và một số máy móc; cũng có bằng chứng cho một số loại học tập ở một số loài thực vật.

Theo sách “Đại Học” của Nho Giáo thì: “Đạo học lớn cốt để phát huy đức sáng, đức tốt đẹp của con người, đổi mới khiến lòng dân bỏ cũ theo mới, bỏ ác theo thiện, khiến mọi người đạt đến mức độ đạo đức hoàn thiện nhất. Có hiểu được phải đạt đến mức độ đạo đức hoàn thiện nhất thì mới kiên định chí hướng. Chí hướng kiên định rồi, tâm mới yên tĩnh. Tâm yên tĩnh rồi, lòng mới ổn định. Lòng ổn định rồi, suy nghĩ sự việc mới có thể chu toàn. Suy nghĩ sự việc chu toàn rồi, mới có thể xử lý, giải quyết công việc được thỏa đáng. Vạn vật đều có đầu có đuôi, có gốc có ngọn. Vạn sự đều có bắt đầu và kết thúc. Biết làm cái gì trước cái gì sau, tức là đã tiếp cận nguyên tắc của đạo rồi”
Khổng Tử nói: “Đạo không thể xa lánh người. Nhưng có người muốn thực hành đạo mà lại xa lánh người, như vậy thì không thể thực hành được đạo… Cho nên người quân tử dùng cái đạo lý vốn sẵn có ở người để giáo dục người, lấy cải sửa làm chính, giáo dục mãi cho đến khi thành người mới thôi. Cũng như ta trau chuốt cán rìu vậy, trau chuốt đến mức thành cán rìu mới thôi. Người ta có lỗi mà biết sửa là được rồi, không xa lánh họ nữa“
